Around this time of the season, it's almost unheard of to not know anything about the candidates running for political office. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone of voting age who has not heard at least one candidate's message. Most Americans make the assumption that, just like with politics, everyone has heard of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This couldn't be further from the truth! The truth is, there's a whole generation who have never heard of Jesus and there are a lot of excuses why we don't share the Good News with our friends, family, and coworkers. In the brand new series "Reach", Pastor Chris pulls out all the stops and exposes the excuses that keep us on the sidelines and out of our co-mission with The Holy Spirit. Get ready for some encouragement and real strategies to help you reach out to a hurting and dying world!

Thank you for joining us for the latest installment of the series {re}. As always, Pastor Chris brings a word that cuts right to the core of the issues that permeate our post-modern culture. We live in world that values striving and comparison. Most of the time, most of us feel like we don't measure up. We spend a great deal of time and resource to get others to like us and accept us. The great news is that God has already declared His love and plans for us! We don't have to try to earn His approval! We can rest in His acceptance of us, right where we are.

A change of direction, a rethinking of a position, a move away from something and toward something else: All good examples of turning. As Pastor Chris continues in the dynamic series {re}, our attention is focused on sin; how we view it, and why we need to turn from it. It's not a popular subject in our post-modern culture, nor is it always viewed correctly in the Church, but you can rest assured that God has always taken and still takes sin and it's consequences very seriously.

We continue this week in our series {re}, and moving on through the conditional promises of 2 Chronicles 7:14, Pastor Chris is focusing this week on prayer and the powerful Presence of God. As we look at the condition of our world, it's easy to see that we are in desperate need of a revival, and as we have seen in the past, it starts with God's people praying and interceding and carrying the Presence of God into their everyday situations. Prayer is powerful! It moves Heaven on our behalf and moves us closer to the destiny-changing power of God. Are you in?

2 Chronicles 7:14 is often quoted, tweeted, and posted on social media as the go-to verse when our nation is visibly in distress. It's a powerful set of promises to be sure, but there are conditions as well. In this fourth installment of the {re} series, Pastor Chris focuses on the first condition of humility by giving us a snapshot of what true humility looks like and what it can do in our personal lives as well as the life of our nation and world. So please join us as we study this very relevant and timely subject.
